salix herbacea การใช้
- With increasing duration of snow persistence, non vascular plants predominated over vascular plants for example Salicetum herbaceae, Salix herbacea etc . ( Wahren, Williams, Papst, 2001)
- Some willows ( particularly arctic and alpine species ) are low-growing or creeping shrubs; for example, the dwarf willow ( " Salix herbacea " ) rarely exceeds in height, though it spreads widely across the ground.
- Four species of willow are still present in the Faroe Islands : " Salix herbacea " is very common in the mountains, but the other three species : " Salix phylicifolia ", " Salix lanata " and " Salix arctica " are only to be found in a few places, due to heavy grazing by animals.
